It just proves you can't paint with to broad a brush now a days...I use to think myself a Socialist then a Commie in my youth (( I read Marx's Das Kapital) now I find myself a Conservative...Full Circle...Most of the Conservative's I know are pretty open minded....more so than most Liberal's.I don't want to get in a argument so I'll stop at that.If you ever want to talk Politics ...Great...I will say this though I grew up in Southern NY, watched the all local NYC news programs and read all the papers...The Post,Daily News and the NY Times and I remeber reading news of Donald Trump at some function be it Feed the children,House the homeless even seen at the Big AIDS soirees.I even remember him in a picture in the local papers sitting with Mohamed Ali and Rosa Parks after receiving a Award from the NAACP. DEm. politicans came to him for money which gave to.So it was big surprise when he ran for President and was called a Fascist, a white supremacist and a Nazi? Funny his son-in-law is a jew,his converted and his grandchildren are raised as Jews ...Wish we had more Nazi's like that HUH?...I found out over the years that Fascist,Nazi's and Communist's are socialist just different levels of intolerance....facsism is nothing more than Socialism on Steroids.Nazi's the same just that they hated Jews and other white and brown and Black people.And Communism the worst they killed Jews too,plus Muslims to not to mention 45 million other people mostly workers and peasants....Sorry I kinda ran off the rails there.I found out 35-40 years ago not to believe what you read in the Paper or on the News...Hope this doesn't strain are frendship.

Truth has become a rare commodity these days Dobe, and most difficult to find.  I too read and listen to a variety of news media and find I must parse between them all. The assholes in charge only care about selling soap.  Don't even get me started on "woke."
