So having found a potential bull for a hesitant wife how did you get the two of them talking together? Without starting world war three at home!

Any sneaky tips to make her think he just started chatting to her and wasn't prearranged!

Here are some things I have done in the past, but they may not work for you since you and your honey are living in a hole in the water into which you pour Sterling!

 

. run into him at the pub when she is with him

  : then start chatting her up with genuine interest in her, and her life

 

.  invite them to a cookout (I am a very good cook) - the festive atmosphere helps

 

.  find some activity that she is interested in, then get all three of us doing that activity together

   (scuba, cycling, golf, etc)

 

If you can arrange for frequent path crosses in social circles that will also help.

• Introduce him to her in a local bar ( as CB says) as your old time friend.
• Take her to an overseas vacation where she would be comfortable but arrange some people in the country you go to meet casually
